Amenhotep IV, Amenophis IV
Shows the upper part of the colossal statue of Amenhotep IV. The ruler is depicted standing there. His arms are folded and his hands clasp the insignia of pharaonic power, the heqa sceptre and the scourge. On the wrists and arms are cartouches with the name of the solar disc. Above the king's head appear the two feathers symbolic of the god Shu; pleated skirt; he wears the nemes, the classical pharaoh's headscarf, with the uraeus on his forehead. - 32094
