This book attemps to guide the reader in the discovery of this immense historical treasure through texts written by some of the world's most highly regarded Egyptologist, many of whom have worked in Tebe over many yeas. Each illustration has been expecially created for this book. Thanks to the co-operation of the archaeological authorities of Egypt, for the first time it has been possible to photograph the treasures in the Tombs of West Thebes without any restrictions and, consequently, to offer the reader images never previously seen by the public, unique for their quality and detail.
