Rameses II wears the Double Crown and is depicted in the act of striking a Nubian enemy with a mace that he holds in his left hand (raised above his head). The sovereign wears a quiver over his shoulder and with his right hand clasps his bow and holds his prisoner by the hair, kneeling before him in an attitude of submission. On the upper left are visible cartouches with the pharaoh's prename and name (User-Maat-Ra Setep-En-Ra, Ra-Mes-Es Meri-Amun).
