View of the first court of the Mastaba of Qar. The court was originally uncovered but is now covered. Its walls are decorated with reliefs as well as the architrave and pillars. To the left in a niche is an image, carved into the rock, probably of Qar wearing a wig. In the background is the inner chamber with six statues carved in the rock and representing six standing male figures, possibly Qar with his family members. Inscriptions and reliefs decorate the walls. - 35014
