The wall is divided into three bands. In the upper one Christ in the mandorla, with apostles, hosts of saints, kings and bishops at his feet. On the left is a representation of the heavenly Jerusalem. In the two lower bands, Christ the judge in the centre within the mandorla with the apostles and angels sounding the trumpets of judgement
