Arch of Constantine

The most important of the Roman triumphal arches, it was built in 313 A.D. to celebrate Constantine's victory over Maxentius at the Milvian Bridge; it stands at the mouth of the ancient Via Trionfale, has the Colosseum, the remains of the Domus Aurea and the remains of the Temple of Venus around it.
