The building originally stood on a crepidine of three steps and had a tetratislal marble pronaos. During the imperial age it was transformed into a Capitolium. After the Jewish revolt, the marble pronaos was rebuilt, which was deeper than the previous one and punctuated by four Doric columns with Ionic bases, and covered the krepìs with a staircase that encompassed the front of the monument on three sides.
