The four sons of Horus: detail of the name Duamutef
Detail of the name of Duamutef. In the representation Horus on the left and his four sons are seated on the ground. The sons are identified by their names: from the left Duamutef with a dog's head, Qebehsenuef with a falcon's head, Hapy with a baboon's head and Imseti with a human head. They were painted above the entrance to the burial chamber where the canopic jars were kept.
