Nekhbet e Size

The image refers to the passage between the second staircase and the entrance to the burial chamber. The wall towards the second staircase is decorated on both sides with the goddess Maat. That towards the burial chamber with images of two serpents representing Lower Egypt (Wadjet) on the right and Upper Egypt (Nekhbet) on the left. Here Nekhbet wears the Atef crown and is depicted on a basket at the top of a double djed pillar and is facing Nefertari approaching the burial chamber. Maat stands under the hieroglyphic sign of the sky supported by two was sceptres. The goddess wears a red dress supported by two braces, a large pearl necklace and bracelets. Her hairstyle is tripartite and features a red headband. On her head she wears her emblem, a feather.
