Userhat in front of Ra-Horakhti (detail)

After the successful weighing of his soul, Userhat (kneeling on the left and now almost lost) is welcomed into the West by the Goddess of the West (Hator or Imentet), represented on the right in a long red dress, in front of her is a flabellus in an upright position. In the centre of the image is a stylised reddish-coloured mountain representing the Western Desert, and above the symbol of the West is the god Ra-Horakhti in the form of a falcon with the sun disk on his head. Above and below are depicted the Souls of Pe (with falcon head) and Nekhen (with jackal head), indicating the mythical rulers of predynastic Egypt.
