Detail of the soul weighing scene. In a golden hall adorned with garlands and bundles of flowers is Osiris seated on a cubic throne. His body is wrapped in a two-coloured shroud, cinched at the waist by a belt, his skin is green, on his head he wears a golden wig and the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt. In his hands he holds the sceptre and scourge clasped at chest level, on which a broad collar is visible. Behind him is a Goddess of the West (Hator or Imentet) protecting him by surrounding him with her winged arms. The goddess wears a red dress, on her head is visible the symbol of the West surmounted by a feather.
