Detail of one of the statuary groups in the Inner Chamber. The group represents Khaemhat and Imhotep (royal scribe, possibly related to Khaemhat). In the space between the legs of the two statues, Khaemhat's bride, Teye, is depicted in relief. She is seated on a chair with a backrest, wearing a long dress, a wig, a wide collar and bracelets. In her left hand she clasps a lotus flower, while her right hand is raised.
