Detail of the pilgrimage scene to Abydos, sacred city of Osiris. Papyrus boat returning from Abydos. The ends of the boat are shaped like papyrus, the helm is decorated with a lotus flower motif and two Udjat eyes. On the bow is the pilot, wearing a white skirt; on the stern is a helmsman. In the centre: Menna and Henuttawy are depicted in mummiform appearance, seated on chairs and under a canopy. Menna (left) holds a scourge, Henuttawy a lotus flower.
