Tomb of Menna, wall no. 7A. Detail of the scene in which the couple receive offerings. Menna (right) and his consort Henuttawy (left) are seated on lion's paw chairs. Both their faces have been chiselled (as have the names Amon and Menna in the text above). Menna sits on a black chair, wearing a long light dress with short sleeves and a white skirt. Around her neck she has a wide breastplate and bracelets on her wrists. In her left hand she holds a lotus blossom that she wears at face level. Henuttawy wears a long, tight-fitting white dress, a multi-coloured breastplate and a diadem. Her left arm is placed around her consort's back and rests a hand on his shoulder.
