General view of the sarcophagus chamber of Ramesses IX. The walls are decorated with scenes from the Book of the Earth, Book of Caves and representations of the deceased with various deities. On the ceiling are scenes from the Book of Night and the Book of Day. In the centre of the chamber, a hole has been dug in the floor to accommodate the missing sarcophagus.
