Detail of the scene in which Amun witnesses the massacre of a Nubian enemy by Rameses II. Amun presents the characteristic crown consisting of a modion and two tall feathers. In his left hand the god holds the Was Sceptre, while in his right he holds the Khopesh, a sceptre in the shape of a curved sword symbolising royal power.
