Battle of Qadesh. Ramesses II on the battle chariot
Battle of Qadesh: in the scene Ramesses II, depicted on his chariot while stretching his bow, is about to attack a Syrian fort. The artist has probably re-carved the figure as the pharaoh appears to have four arms and two bows. Behind him are the three sons of the pharaoh with their horses.
