Severian Port

The best preserved part of the Severian Harbour is the Eastern Pier. At its end stood a control tower and a small temple, possibly dedicated to the Capitoline Triad. The harbour quay is divided into a series of compartments, which must have served as warehouses for goods, in front of which a long columned portico opens. Three wide steps provide access to the lower quay, from which other small stairs lead up to the brackets where boats used to dock.
