The jewel consists of a bead, half of which is worked with a braided motif, while the other half, flat, is decorated with a frieze of alternating djed and tit signs. On the centre of the jewel is applied a thick cartouche bearing an inscription. On either side of the cartouche are two small sphinxes, symbolising the figure of the king.
