The couple are depicted standing in incedent positions; he (K.) wears a short-sleeved tunic with a laced neckline on which the name of Amenhotep III is inscribed, a pleated sash, the tasselled edge of which falls over the groin, is tied around the waist and holds a skirt with large pleats that reaches down to the calves; his left hand is clasped around an empty cylinder; she has a wig with a garland of alternately open and budding lotus flowers, two locks of hair, a tight-fitting dress with two rosettes at the breast, the left arm is covered by a pleated sleeve, a large necklace, three bracelets, in the left hand she clasps a menat necklace, an ornament that women wore in processions to the goddess Hathor (the beads were struck on the bronze counterweight and, by making noise, drove out evil).
