Detail of the parade float from Tutankhamun's tomb.

Detail of the parade chariot from Tutankhamun's tomb made of wood, gold, semi-precious stones and glass paste. The multi-registered gold foil representation includes the names of the ruler inscribed in cartouches on the upper part, followed by the representation of the enemies kneeling on either side of the 'Sema-Tawy' (the heraldic representation of the union of the Two Lands) and again the array of enemies kneeling and with their hands tied, symbolising the pharaoh's victory over all enemies.
