The lower part of the body of the ushabt, below the arms, is covered with eight horizontal lines of hieroglyphic text containing the formula ushabty (chapter 6 of the Book of the Dead). with the arms crossed over the chest and the hands coming out of the bands clasping an ankh sign (symbol of life); he is girding the striated nemes, adorned with the uraeus in the centre of the forehead, a long and narrow false beard ending in a sort of curl.
