The necklace consists of sixty-eight alternating drop-shaped beads in gold, lapis lazuli, cornaline and turquoise. The pendant reproduces a sacellum. The base is formed by the offering table (hetep), the side walls and roof by two facing banners in which the hieroglyphic Necer can be recognised; the centre of the chapel is then occupied by the heart (ib). The ensemble of signs forms a royal epithet.
