Treasure of Tutankhamun. Vulture breastplate

The vulture's head is positioned so as to fix the face of the wearer, namely Tutankhamun. The vulture represents the goddess Nekhbet, protector of Upper Egypt and the ruler. The breastplate is made of gold, the body and wings are inlaid with lapis lazuli, cornaline and red and blue glass paste.
