Libyan palette. Lower fragment

The Libyan palette was found in Abydos and is dated to the Predynastic period. Only the lower part has unfortunately survived. On this side four registers decorated with a row of bulls, followed by donkeys and rams are visible. At the base, the last register shows eight trees probably olive trees arranged in two rows. The name of the palette is based on two hieroglyphics that correspond to the name given to the Libyan region, tjenehu. The representation of animals has been interpreted as the booty obtained.
