The goddess Isis has her hands on her knees, the right clasping the ankh sign. On her head, supported by a crown, stands her emblem, consisting of the sun disk between two cow horns. The sculpture in the centre depicts the chief scribe Psammeticus with the cow goddess Hathor. The face of the goddess is adorned by cow horns with uraeus and two feathers. Psammeticus stands before her, his head protected by the snout of the cow; he wears a bag-like wig, a necklace with a square pedant, and a long skirt completely covered with a hieroglyphic text. The god Osiris is represented mummiform, his right hand holds the scourge, his left the heqa sceptre. Osiris wears the atef crown. The face of the god is almost identical to that of the goddess Isis.
