The Montecitory Aule, Rome


Montecitoriy Palace was started to work by Lorenzo Bernini. The palace was continued by Carlo Fontana. After the Unity of Italy, (1870) the Palace become the centre of Italian Parliament. Ernesto Basile, a liberty Architect, enlarged the building with a great work of restructuration. The Montecitory Aule is characterized by many Liberty ovres, like a frieze of Aristide Sartorio, the bronze group by Davide Calandra and the wonderful coloured glasses panel that is on the ceiling vault was made by Giovanni Beltrami
